We create useful forecasts of some proposed  legislations’ effects on GDP

We focus on making useful forecasts of the likely dollar increases or decreases in the GDP of the United States should the proposed legislation we examine be enacted into Federal law. We look at 35 specific economic conditions and polices to se which may be affected by the proposed law. Then we make a ‘useful forecast’ of the impact on GDP

The headline is an adaptation of a quote often attributed to the British statistician George E. P. Box, to wit: “All models are wrong, but some are useful”

Our examinations of proposed legislation are listed on this page.
